Modern Girls and Modern Rock and Roll

I'm not sure how long this will last, but I started splitting hosting duties on a friend's radio show this morning. He does one week, I do the next; my half of the show is called "The Simple Things You See." The station is CKLN-FM in Toronto, 88.1, also available online. As I've periodically mentioned in stuff I've written elsewhere on this site, I used to do an overnight show on CIUT-FM, one of Toronto's other two campus stations, for a couple of years in the late '80s. Milli Vanilli was still a working band at the time, and CDs were still kind of a novelty; the station had very few. Anyway, for as long as I am on the air--which will likely be for as long as nobody bothers to listen, at which point someone at the station will stop to ask, "Who gave the microphone to this idiot?"--I'll link to my playlists here. I'm on from 7:00 till 8:30 every other Sunday morning. A radio show that no one listens to will make a good companion for this web page that no one reads. It's all part of my master plan--as soon as someone hands me a TV show that no one watches, I will have accomplished my goal to become the Oprah of the Bizarro World. 6/04/2006 6/18/2006 7/02/2006 7/16/2006 7/30/2006
