It was great fun while it lasted. It may yet be fun again.
Here's my election blog or whatever you want to call it from '08. I just kind of fell into it--an
initial post early in the year on how creepily the Clinton campaign was limping along, then more
frequent posts, and before long I was commenting on something or other pretty much every day. I'm
writing this at the lowest point of the Obama presidency, post-downgrade, so the amazing narrative
of three years ago seems more distant than ever. But it did happen, and I found myself more con-
nected to and caught up in events than I ever would have imagined.
