Even the Bus Stops at Sam's

As promised six or seven years ago, everything has been reshuffled to read front to back. It was a nightmare. Every section below required four steps: 1) Cut-and-paste each group of records so that they reversed order--top group to the bottom, second group down to second-last, etc. 2) Do the same thing with the 15-30 albums within each group--top album to the bottom, etc. 3) Somewhere towards the end of the first thousand albums, I discovered a sig- nificant glitch in the numbering whereby 13 numbers had been duplicated; I found another two numbers duplicated a few sections after that. So the last 2700 or 2800 LPs all had to be renumbered, which in turn meant that: 4) All mixworthy and spent listings had to be renumbered, all text had to be checked for album references that required renumbering (along with a bit of rewrit- ing in a couple of spots to account for the changes), and the listings below had to be renumbered. Also: navigational links for each page that either take you to the next section or return you to the index; the sure-to-be-controversial addition of a Tears for Fears song into mixworthy; the addition of a Cat Stevens album I recently talked a friend into letting me have (it's got "Here Comes My Baby," which I wanted to get into mixworthy); an image of Bobby Sherman's Greatest Hits in place of the Shaggs' Philosophy of the World (no disrespect to the Shaggs, but Bobby's got much nicer bangs); a CHUM chart from 1969 that underscores something I wrote about Tommy Roe; and one brand new joke. I know many people will be more than happy to reread every- thing in search of the joke, but I'll tell you in advance that it's somewhat tepid. abba - aztec camera (records #1 - #86)
